About Pricing

There are a few ways to price artwork.

Mine is roughly priced by size, with the smaller pieces being kept intentionally in a range where I could afford them myself. Most of the smaller pieces are therefore only available at the studio or online, not usually at a gallery.

Per the 2021 price list, my smallest pieces are 8"x8"x1.5", oil or acrylic on canvas or on board, and they start at $550 including shipping and tax if you purchase them online. I ship all over the US.

Larger pieces are more expensive, here are a few examples:

12"x12" =  $990
24"x24" =  $2,350
48"x48" =  $6,400

and so forth.

If you are interested in a piece, please email or DM me and I will send you more information.
If you are in the Bay Area, you are always welcome to visit the SF studio, just email me for an appointment.

Best,
Katja

Studio Visits, 1044 Revere Ave

You are always welcome to make an appointment and visit the Revere Studio in San Francisco Bayview/Hunters Point, where I actually paint.

You get to see work in progress and whatever I have on the walls that day. You can view reference shots, books and catalogs of all my paintings.

My paint tubes will be there, and my messy brushes, and it's generally a fun place to visit.

I will probably be painting when you come by, so be aware that there could be wet paint everywhere.

There is free parking on the street or in the lot surrounding the building, please be careful to not block any roll-up doors or other cars at any time.

The studio is located in Hunters Point, at the Bayview Industrial Park, the entrance to 1044 is midway down the building, behind the tree.

Come up the stairs and my studio will be in the first hallway to your right, number C76.

Unfortunately, there is no passenger elevator.
There is, however, a freight elevator, and two large loading docks are available on the North and South sides of the building.

Also, you can purchase work if you wish, there is a card reader, and I gladly accept checks.

Email me to schedule: Katja {at} KatjaLeibenath.com.
I look forward to seeing you!

Exploring a larger scale - more #viewfromthestudio, water colors

View from the Studio

The actual View from the Studio you've been hearing so much about - this is a snapshot out of my studio window at the Revere Studio, taken in September 2017. You need a zoom lens, you must wait for the right light and voila, this is what you see. I've been staring at it a lot, it is a perfect combination of shapes, light and colors.

Some new small watercolors from a recent rainy Sunday afternoon.
