nothing out of the ordinary

I like Robert Walsers writing a lot.
Here is a good example, an excerpt from a short text from 1914 that feels close to my artwork, my imagery and my thoughts in general:

I walked through the mountains today.
The weather was damp, and the entire region was gray.
(...)
We don’t need to see anything out of the ordinary.
We already see so much.
